Unsanity Releases FruitMenu 3.1
Unsanity LLC announces the immediate availability of FruitMenu 3.1. This update adds several new features and fixes bugs.
FruitMenu is a haxie that gives you the ability to customize the Apple Menu and contextual menus. Using a visual editor you can edit the contents of the menus to suit your needs and taste. FruitMenu will also display the contents of the FruitMenu Items folder inside of your Library folder, launch applications and shell scripts from the Apple Menu and contextual menus, to allow easy file navigation and launching. To make the haxie completely flexible and customizable, you can assign hot keys to particular Apple menu items.
New in this version:
- This update is free for all registered users, as usual.
- A list of installed Application Enhancer modules is now displayed in the System Preferences submenu for the APE Manager.
- New "Display Folders First In File Listings" option in the Advanced settings to make FruitMenu display folders on top of all other files in the file listings.
- Updated for Application Enhancer 1.3.
- Significant speed optimizations.
- Mounted Volumes are now displayed in all contextual menus and not just when clicked on the Desktop, due to many users requests.
- Fixed a bug with certain contextual menu items not working when Apple menu is not enhanced.
- Fixed a bug with not being able to add Microsoft Office X and some other applications to individual application settings.
- Miscellaneous bug fixes.
