First look at iSight
All WWDC attendees got a free iSight, along with a copy of Panther. Here's a first look at it.
The iSight is a compact cylinder which mounts easily on any Mac with several provided mounting clips. For a PowerBook or flat screen iMac, it attaches to the top of the screen. A single FireWire cable provides power & signal.
iChat AV, which is now available as a public beta, will automatically recognize the iSight and display a video icon when it's connected. Unfortunately iMovie doesn't recognize it and will simply display a "No camera connected" message. I haven't tried it with any other software.
I wasn't able to connect to anyone via the internet either from WWDC's network (which was very unreliable) or my hotel's wireless access, most likely due to firewalls blocking it.
A plastic case is provided to easily transport the iSight.

WWDC Keynote
There was no internet access during the keynote, so I wasn't able to post live as I had hoped. Here are my raw notes, which I'll edit and repost later.
