Porsche Design competes against the Titanium PowerBook

Best Buy is currently selling a new laptop produced by Porsche Design (a company created by the grandson of the owner of Porsche, but nothing to do with cars) which looks a lot like our own laptop we have come to know as the TiBook....

Even though it may look very similar, its 1.2" thick instead of 1" and weighs around 6.4 pounds, instead of 5.3 like the Titanium PowerBook G4. It features 2.0 GHz Intel Pentium 4-M processor with 512 MB RAM, the same 15.2" 1280x854 widescreen display, and apparently an ear-opening sound system.

It's on sale for $2,399 at your local Best Buy, and pictures of the VPR Matrix 200A5 can be found at the CNET story here.
