Run Classic apps on Intel Macs with SheepShaver- a curious glitch

Hi

I have successfully fired up Sheepshaver from an OS8.5 disc and have a few apps working. However my virtual disk remains locked and I can't start up from it. The disk image in OS10.4.9 is unlocked.

Does anyone know how to solve this one?

Otherwise I'm greatly impressed with Sheepshaver and thanks to the bod who wrote it. It makes my MacBookPro much, much more useful. Does Apple not throw resources into getting such ingeneous software easily working?
