Cincinnati, Ohio – Okeedoke Studios released a new design and major feature additions for “VCVCBC Songwriting Studio,” now available for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The updated version features a more intuitive workflow, audio recording capabilities and a wide variety of sharing options. It is temporarily on sale for $2.99 in the US App Store, 70% off its regular price of $9.99.
VCVCBC Songwriting Studio is a musical idea sketchpad that organizes your lyrics, chords, melodies and rhythms into beautiful chord charts. There’s no need to worry about notation or production. VCVCBC uses a very comfortable workflow to allow each songwriter to finish a song in the way they work best. Ideas and songs can be shared over email and Dropbox in a variety of formats, including audio, MIDI, PDF and a proprietary format to collaborate with other songwriters.
Okeedoke Studios is putting the future of the app in the hands of its users. “Users vote for the new feature they want the most,” developer Ben Thornburg explains. “Once we reach our current goal, we’ll put the most popular feature into production for the next major update.” The current feature options are a new grand piano sound, quantization options and a bass guitar option. One of these will move into production once the current milestone of 500 Twitter followers is achieved for the @songwritingapp account.
