TextShot Makes Group Texting Easy

Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom – Soluble Applications has announced the release of TextShot 1.1, a new app for sending texts to groups from iPhone. The app makes an ideal companion to their ‘MailShot’ app, which has been the top-listed App Store result for “Group Email” for the past two years with over 250,000 users.

The new app is designed to feel as much like MailShot as possible, including all the same methods to add single, multiple and groups of contacts from users’ address books. This new update also adds the new method to turn a long string of names and phone numbers directly into a group in the app.

TextShot lets users create their own preset messages, so they can send a text in their own words (such as “Be there in ten minutes, order a drink for me”, or “On my way home, what takeaway would you like?”) with just a few taps. “We believe that TextShot will make MailShot users who have been requesting a texting solution very happy, as well as introducing many more users to our apps,” said Peter Johnson, CEO of developer Soluble.
