Chico, California – The Unexplainable Store today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of Brainwaves – The Unexplainable Store 4.0.1, an update to their popular integrated brainwave entrainment app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. Brainwaves provides access to over 80 professionally-designed isochronic tones and binaural beats, which are examples of a complex neurological process known as brain entrainment.
Considered an effective audio-based method of stimulating the brain, brain entrainment enables the use of the audio stimuli to affect the brain. Research has shown evidence of beneficial outcomes including anxiety reduction, mood support, motivation, increased concentration, and deep meditation.
“Findings to date suggest that BWE [brainwave entrainment] is an effective therapeutic tool. People suffering from cognitive functioning deficits, stress, pain, headache/migraines, PMS, and behavioral problems benefited from BWE.” reports Tina Huang, PhD and Christine Charyton, PhD in “Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine” (Vol. 14, No. 5, Sep 2008).
Each Brainwaves session is designed to help users instantly reach Altered States of Consciousness. All of Brainwaves’ audio recordings, recorded at 320 kbps, trigger the user’s mind to synchronize with exact frequencies. These frequencies are designed to bring about the specific brainwave ranges of Beta, Theta, Alpha, and Delta, which can be coordinated to the Brainwaves session to receive the optimal effect.

Each recording of the Brainwaves app is tuned for a specific purpose. There are seven categories of Brainwaves entrainment audio: Therapy Recordings, Health and Hygiene, Spiritual and Metaphysical, Money and Prosperity, Brain Function, Personal Development, and Adult Subjects. All recordings are available in isochronic tones, which are the most powerful type of brainwave entrainment. Isochronic tones utilize equal intensity tones, increasing the pulse speed, and synchronizing the user’s brain with the rhythm. Using a distinct and clean wave form, isochronics are designed to harmonize with the brain much more efficiently.
“I use a lot of different meditation recordings, but I come back to all of my Unexplainable Store tracks regularly, which is more than I can say for some of the recordings I’ve obtained elsewhere,” reports Harmonic Cosmos (26 March 2014).
Brainwaves also offers recordings of binaural beats, which are the most widely known and used form of aural brainwave entrainment. Discovered in 1839 by Heinrich Wilhelm Dove, binaural beats directly stimulate the brain by altering the operating frequency. This is usually accomplished by broadcasting two separate frequencies in each ear. For example, to tune the brain to a 7 Hz frequency, the user can play 200 Hz in their right ear and 207 Hz in their left ear. The brain will compensate for the difference between the two and produce a third tone that will be exactly 7 Hz. This will result in your brain frequency being raised or lowered, and tuned to the desired operating stage. Headphones must be used when listening to all binaural beats for the best effect.
“Brainwave entrainment technology is an exciting new development, and the potential it has for altering the human experience is only just beginning to be explored.” says BuyPDX (Feb 2014). “Using the brainwave entrainment tracks offered by the Unexplainable Store can give you access to parts of your consciousness that you would never before have been able to enter. They have the possibility to elicit changes in though and behavior in a very profound way without all of the effort normally involved in making such changes. If you are interested in the massive untapped potential of the human brain and mind, you will definitely want to check out this innovative new technology.”
Featuring an exceptionally clean and easy-to-navigate interface, Brainwaves provides convenient access to all The Unexplainable Store recordings. Users can search according to category, newly released, and Top 10. There are also two buttons that display Super Packages and any promotions available. Brainwaves provides a built-in playlist and timer feature so users can conveniently organize and set the amount of time they want the recording to play.
Each recording includes an in-depth description of the session, its length, recommended brain state, and whether it is an isochronic tone or a binaural beat. There is also a sample clip available for users to download and “try-before-they-buy.” A 10-minute relaxation brainwave is included for free. Version 4.0.1 includes some modifications and improvements of the Brainwaves app. The library of apps is now alphabetical for easy searching, a lock screen control has been added, and overall optimization has been improved.
