Bandung, Indonesia – Independent developer Kidalang today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of Sage Fusion 2 (RPG VN) 1.0, the final chapter of the popular series now available for Mac OS X. Previously released for iOS devices, Sage Fusion 2 blends role-playing, adventure, and a visual novel in one compelling game. Although a sequel to the previously released Sage Fusion game, Sage Fusion 2 stands as an independent game and features longer gameplay, a faster-paced story progression, and more puzzles and areas to explore.
“The sequel to Kidalang’s Sage Fusion – which has been delivered with twice the story content of the original – provides you with everything a fan of the first stellar outing could have ever hoped for, and then some more,” says Clovis L. Dye, Jr. of iFanzine (27 Aug 2013). “Unfettered by the world-building need the first title had, this time around the heavily story driven RPG has far more gripping narrative as everyone rushes to stop Hoder and Corosso’s plan before it’s too late. All of this writing is once more presented with a virtually flawless topnotch delivery, making the Sage Fusion series still one of the most amazing pieces of literature that you can get on an iOS device that doesn’t take the form of an eBook. The lush hand drawn artwork – which simultaneously combines the sensibilities of both Graphic Adventure and Visual Novel games – is back in full force, this time taking players to whole new places.”

Set in a futuristic universe in which artificial intelligence is considered religious taboo, Sage Fusion 2 is the adventure of a businessman and his bodyguard who descend to an underground world, trying to retrieve their allegedly stolen spaceship which fell and crashed in the middle of the city. As they navigate the city, they soon discover that behind this accident lies a conspiracy that involves the galactic government, the military, the church, and a centuries-old historical legend.
“If you’ve been searching for a game that scales on an epic proportion, then you’ll probably want to take a look at Sage Fusion 2,” recommends Jared Murray of App Saga (18 Dec 2013). “The game has a playtime that is nearly twice as long as its predecessor, giving you ample opportunity to enjoy yourself for long bouts. You’ll find the rich atmosphere and environments are perfect for exploring and discovering, while also engaging with a number of battles and fights to save your life. The graphics are pretty stellar, and the animations go right along with the story set out before you.”
“Sage Fusion 2 was recently named the Grand Prize Winner in the Role-Playing and Strategy Games category in the Tizen App Challenge,” says Yohan Alexander, co-founder of Kidalang. “Already released in iTunes and Blackberry World, Sage Fusion 2 has a 4.5 out of 5 average user rating and is gaining quite a few accolades. With Sage Fusion 2, we have aimed to create an experience for people who want to be delighted by an epic story – a story that tells the tale of characters so unique and memorable, yet so human and lovable. And through this story, we seek to dream up a world vastly imaginative and colorful. A world that might seem otherworldly and celestial but feels believable and real. Additionally, we have designed and written Sage Fusion 2 as a stand-alone game so that new players who haven’t played its predecessor can also enjoy it.”
