Higienopolis, Brazil – Are you interested in Hindu culture? Have you wanted to read the Mahabharata but the language barrier blocks you? Or maybe you’ve heard of Arjuna the warrior and want to learn more about his story? Well look no further than Selo Prologo’s new iPad app, The notable warrior – Arjuna.
The app will allow you to learn about Arjuna the warrior and the importance of these ancient teachings from Hindu culture. It is the first of a trilogy that will cover the Mahabharata, an epic narrative featuring the Bhagavad Gita and other stories. The stories have been adapted for children and youth. Arjuna’s story focuses on the Bhagavad Gita.
The Bhagavad Gita will come to life with animated graphics, as users dive into Arjuna’s world during the Kurukshetra war. They will discover the dilemma facing Arjuna on the battlefield, when his enemies are also his relatives, friends, and teachers. Users will meet Krishna, Arjuna’s charioteer and guide, as he explains to Arjuna the duties he has as a warrior and prince.
The iPad app features Indian sounds and illustrations, helping users immerse themselves into Arjuna’s world. As they follow along, users will discover these ancient teachings are relevant to today. They will be challenged to think and act in new ways as Arjuna’s tale unfolds before them.
“We want these teachings to reach Western audiences because they are important for the paradigm shift and exchange of traditions in new generations,” explains Fernanda, CEO of Selo Prologo. “That’s why we’ve created this iPad app.”
