Tega Cay, South Carolina – Motionshift Studios is excited to announce LETRARIO 1.01 for the iPad. The app is a re-envisioning of the popular iPhone and iPad game, LETTERARIUM, but this version has been built from the ground up for the Hispanic Gaming community, a group long neglected by the gaming industry.
This is a game of letters chosen at random from a library of over 4500 common (and sometimes not so common) words all in spanish. Your task is to find the letters for the word from a pile of letter keys dropped before the time runs out. Those players that love the original LETTERARIUM will find LETRARIO extra challenging not only for the language change but also for the handling of spanish accents and tildes that fool the eye and trick the mind.
Rounds start off easy as players are given three-letter words to spell out of piles of tiles. Letters can be tapped in any order too, as long as the whole word is spelled out by the end. But the game steadily ramps up the challenge in clever ways. Words get bigger and longer. Letters in the pile will be upside-down and touching the wrong one will subtract points. Soon, bombs get added to the pile and explode as the clock starts ticking down. All this happens while already tense players are then forced to spell the word from memory. By stacking all of these new challenges, along with some tasteful Batman jokes, the game keeps a fresh and varied gameplay.
