VideoHunter for iOS – View/Download Online Videos Without Buffering

Accessing all the videos available for download on YouTube, VideoHunter uses a hi-tech caching engine to provide nearly stopless playback. VideoHunter supports a variety of video formats, including MPEG and MP4, allowing users to download nearly any online video. Users can also organize videos into folders, tag favorite videos, and edit audio/video effects using VideoHunter.

VideoHunter opens to YouTube, allowing users to search and navigate YouTube to find their favorite videos. Whether funny or memorable, each online video is downloaded using a hi-tech caching engine. More advanced than traditional video downloading, the engine provides nearly stopless playback, providing the merits of both streaming and downloading. VideoHunter allows users to enjoy cached videos even when offline. Videos are downloaded without the annoyance of encoding, as VideoHunter supports a variety of formats, including MKV, AVI, WMV, ASF, MPEG, MP4, MOV, M4V, and more.

A menu in the upper right-hand corner allows users to easily navigate VideoHunter. Once users have found and downloaded the ideal video, they can use this menu to “add to favorites” and view their “favorites” list. These features provide users easy access to a complete list of their favorite videos, allowing users to share and enjoy memorable videos again and again. The “video explorer” feature of the menu allows users to organize their videos into different folders, making it simple and efficient to find previously downloaded and edited videos.

As users view the video, VideoHunter provides a collection of high quality features to modify videos. Users can control playback speed, using fast-forward and rewind controls in the bottom right-hand corner of the video screen. Other controls include increasing and decreasing audio speed by one-tenth of a second increments by clicking on the Add or Subtract buttons. By clicking on the “X” in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen, users can increase and decrease audio volume and add audio effects, including Cinema, Stadium, Room, Loud, Voice Boost, Voice Reduction, Bass Boost, High Cut, and Soft. The same menu allows users to edit movie settings, such as flipping the screen so it is vertical, horizontal, or color highlight as well as stretching the screen horizontally and vertically. These features allow users to modify videos, making them their own.
